We’re looking for our next extraordinary team member to join our Food & Beverage team as our Host at Atelier by Sofitel, supporting our breakfast and dinner services at Sofitel Sydney Darling Harbour.Key responsibilities include:Delivering exceptional, personalised service that reflects Sofitel’s luxury standards and creates memorable guest experiences.Welcoming and seating guests warmly, manage reservations and accommodate special requests to ensure a seamless dining experience.Confidently present menus, recommend food and beverage selections, and identify opportunities to enhance the guest experience and drive sales.Take accurate orders, coordinate with kitchen and service teams, and deliver food and beverages promptly and professionally.Maintain strong product knowledge, including menus, wine lists, allergens and dietary requirements, to assist guests with their selections.Take ownership of your designated section, ensuring service stations are clean, organised and fully stocked.Process orders and payments accurately, following all cash-handling and operational procedures.Uphold the highest standards of personal presentation, food safety, hygiene, workplace health and safety, and brand compliance.Collaborate with colleagues across the hotel to deliver exceptional service and contribute to a positive team environment.Participate in training and development opportunities to continually enhance your skills and embody Sofitel’s values of excellence, pleasure and openness.Undertake additional duties within your skills and capabilities as required by management.
